This past week in Vegas

Each day in Vegas so many things happen in the clubs, shows, taxi’s, limo’s hotel rooms, or anywhere else. It is the true Adult Disneyland where pretty much anything goes. Lets start what happened in my Taxi this week, I love it when my passengers in the back seat whisper to each other. That is hilarious. Whom am I going to tell what you did last night or what is going on at you business or what happened at the convention. Really? Whispering? Like I am going to judge you on this 10 minute cab ride to the airport. But what is even more funny when I pickup couples that are obviously cheating on their other half. O.k. not really funny but sad but how they present themselves to me that they believe that it is o.k. for them to be doing what they are doing. No, there was no sex in my Taxi this week but these two cheaters definitely have a lot of secrets and believe that What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas cause when I dropped them off at the airport they flew on two different airlines. Giveaway!! Life of a Taxi driver

Some of these cab drivers these days have gotten under my skin. For example just 15 minutes ago the taxi in front of me would not take these 3 people across the street, one lady had a walker. After waiting 1.5 hours I decided to take them, they appreciate that and they knew it was a short tide. I told them I never say NO and I don’t make money unless the meter is running. I got them over there $5.90 and they gave me $20. Kindness is so amazing!!

This week in My Taxi

This week in my taxi was very interesting and yet fun at the same time. Monday was busier then normal as EDC was winding down so people needed rides everywhere. More drunk people then normal, at least I thought they were drunk but they were probably high on pills from the concert. Tuesday was still busy and went by fast until my taxi ran out of gas. Then I got a ride from the Luxor a couple going to Paris Hotel and the taxi ride was $9.70 and they gave me $100 and told me they just won $3,000 and said to keep the change. That leads us to today, Wednesday was slow as can be but ended in a way that i haven’t done in the 5.5 years of driving. I was waiting for one of my passengers earlier in the day to call me back for a ride when this gal knocked on my window and asked me if I could drive her car from the gas station down the street to an auto shop as she had gotten into a car accident with an expired license and the cops told her she could not drive the car but someone with a license could. I left my taxi and walked with her to her car and drove her down the road to the auto shop, she offered me $50 for helping her I told no thanks, but to put that money toward getting your car fixed. She said I’ve got to give you something for helping her out. She asked me for my number as she said she takes Taxi’s often and she knows others that do to. We will see what happens. Stay tuned to find out if/when she calls for a Taxi.
